Hello! My name is Wilder Ayer; I am a third-year BFA student at the University of Montana. I am studying Technical Directing with a secondary focus on scenic design and construction. I have been honored to work in the Scene Shop for my second year as a member of the Shop Staff. I started doing scenery in my freshman year of high school and have loved every moment of it.
Projects of Pride
Metamorphoses was my junior project at the University of Montana and was the largest technical challenge I have ever faced, see how we solved the plumbing and pool on the Metamorphoses Tab.
Legally Blonde was my senior show at Fossil Ridge High School in Fort Collins, Colorado. I was our Lead Carpenter; I still credit this as my most difficult and most impressive build. You can see more on the High School Productions Tab.
I was Assistant Technical Director for the University of Montana's Production of Silent Sky, which is the most meaningful show I have ever worked on. It was an honor to tell the story of a woman as influential in our understanding of the cosmos as Henrietta Leavitt. To see more direct yourself to the Silent Sky Tab.
